Spa 901 is currently seeking a warm, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk
Coordinator to join our team for an April opening! As the first point of contact,
you’ll play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences while helping to
ensure the smooth flow of day-to-day spa operations.

Position Details:

• Availability: 3-4 days per week, majority will be afternooon closing shifts
• Starting Wage: $20/hour + sales incentive

Located in the beautifully restored 1908 schoolhouse in Fernie, Spa 901 is a
full-service day spa offering a wide variety of massage, body, and esthetic

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Greet all guests with warmth and professionalism
• Manage bookings via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
• Provide accurate and helpful information on treatments, services, and spa
  products
• Ensure precise attention to detail with all reservations and guest
  communications
• Process payments and maintain responsible cash handling practices
• Promote spa services and offerings as a positive brand ambassador
• Oversee appointment flow, laundry, and spa tidiness during shifts
• Handle occasional guest concerns with calm, solution-focused
  communication
• Adhere to all spa health and safety, sanitation, and internal policies
• Assist with additional tasks as needed

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
• Reliable and available to work weekends (we are closed on statutory
  holidays)
• Local to Fernie or nearby communities

• Completion and certification from a recognized and qualified educational establishment.
• All applicants must be an active registrant in good standing with the CCHPBC
• Additional training or interest in learning other body work modalities an asset but not required
• CPR certification

• Evaluating the condition of clients’ feet / nails and advising them on proper foot care recommendations and treatments.
• Disinfecting all nail instruments and equipment before each use.
• Ensuring that workstations are kept clean and orderly.
• Ensuring that nail and massage supplies are adequately stocked.
• Providing quality massages.

Do you love cleanliness and possesses a high level of attention to detail? Do you love receiving massages? We are currently seeking a reliable part-time cleaner, who is available two days per week for an evening clean of the spa.

We are looking for an applicant who is able to work a set schedule, (Monday/ Thursday, or Tuesday/Friday evenings preferred, however negotiable). Rate of pay is $22/hour, plus one 60 minute massage per month, to help your body recover from the physical work of cleaning.

Job Description
• Conduct full cleaning of the spa facility, twice per week (approximately 3 –4 hours per shift), ensuring attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness.
• Vacuum/sweep and wet mop all floor surfaces, including showers
• Clean washrooms and showers
• Clean surface areas of counters, railings, garbage can lids, etc.
• Dusting of baseboards, light fixtures, artwork, etc.
• Deep cleaning of showers, floors, etc. (as required)
• All cleaning supplies & equipment are provided and stored on-site.

Requirements To be considered for an interview, you must meet the following requirements:
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
• Be reliable and trustworthy
• Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work productively with minimal
supervision
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
