We Care

The health, comfort and quality of experience that our guests receive is our top priority.  To help us provide the best possible experience during your visit, please review the following policies and etiquette guidelines.

Guests with pre-existing medical conditions are advised to consult their doctors prior to booking any spa services to avoid disappointment if there is a contraindication discovered upon arrival.  Please inform us if you are pregnant, have known allergies, physical limitations or health conditions so we can recommend, prepare and modify the treatment to your needs.

Cancellation Policy / Payment Methods

Spa 901 adheres to a strict 24 hour cancellation policy, as we consider both our guests and therapist’s time to be valuable.

If you must cancel, please contact us by phone directly so that we can arrange for other clients to take your place, as this time is specifically held for you.   If you are not able to provide 24 hours notice, and we are not able to fill the time reserved for you, you will be charged a late cancellation fee of $50 per appointment booked.   The full cost of service will be charged for no shows.

A credit card number is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

We accept cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard or Spa 901 gift cards for payment.

We are unable to process third party gift cards, such as Visa gift cards or Spa Finder gift cards, and do not accept Amex at this time.

Minimum Age

Guests of Spa 901 must be at least 16 years of age to enjoy spa treatments, facilities and amenities, including the outdoor hot pool and relaxation areas.   It is our goal to provide a quiet and relaxing atmosphere and ask that children do not accompany guests into treatments, lounges or relaxation areas.

Manicure and pedicure appointments are available to guests ages 6-16, however must be accompanied by a parent that provides written permission on our client intake form.

Check In Times / For your comfort

We recommend that all guests arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to their appointment time in order to leave sufficient time for our check-in process.  Arriving late will limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening the effectiveness and enjoyment of the service.  Treatments will end on time so that adjacent bookings are not delayed, and the full value of the service will be charged.

All of our treatment tables are equipped with warmers, sheets, and a blanket or duvet for your comfort.  Our staff are professionally trained therapists who use draping techniques to ensure that your intimate areas are fully covered at all times during your appointment. If you are uncomfortable fully disrobing, we ask that you bring a comfortable pair of shorts to change into and communicate with your therapist so that you can fully relax and enjoy the services being provided.  Spa 901 is not held responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Receipts for Insurance Purpose (Massage)

All of our estheticians and practicioners at Spa 901 are trained professionals, however not all practicioners are BC Registered Massage Therapists.  If you require a receipt for insurance purposes for massage, please search availability for “BC Registered Massage”.

Availability for this service is very limited and we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.   Services performed by a BC registered therapist are not eligible to receive discounts or package pricing.

Insurance receipts can only be issued to the individual who received a massage treatment, on the date the treatment took place.  Receipts for BC registered massage paid for with a gift certificate will name the client who received the treatment and will reflect payment method as ‘gift certificate’.

At this time we are unable to accept WCB claims.

Hot Pool and Infrared Saunas

Use of our outdoor hot pool and infrared saunas is complimentary to guests, 16 years and older, when you book in services valued at $99 or more (per person).  Add on to any spa service valued under $99 for $12, or make a drop-in appointment for $17.  Please bring your bathing suit and arrive within the spa’s business hours to use these relaxing amenities.

It is recommended that the amenities be used prior to any esthetic appointment.  Spa 901 will not guarantee polish application, if the hot pool or infrared saunas are used following a manicure or pedicure.

We do not recommend the use of these amenities if you have certain medical conditions such as heart problems, low blood pressure, asthma, diabetes or if you are pregnant.  Please consult with your doctor in advance of your time at the spa to determine whether use of the hot pool or infrared sauna is suited for you.

Environment / Alcohol Policy

We ask all guests respect the quiet enjoyment of others and limit noise level within our space.  Cell phones and personal devices are to be turned off or to silent upon entering the spa to avoid disrupting the enjoyment of experience for other guests in the relaxation areas and in service.

Consumption of alcohol, drugs or cigarettes are not permitted within the premise of the spa.

Group Bookings / Discounts

Groups of six people or more receiving services at Spa 901 are entitled to receive a 10% discount off full-priced services (see exclusions below).  Due to limitations in our booking system, we are unable to process split payments between guests at this time.   If you would like to split payment within your group, please organize ahead of time, as we will require one person to cover the cost of treatment for the guest being paid for.

Discounts and promotions offered by Spa 901 can not be used in conjunction with other discounts or offers, or toward the following:

Any services or packages performed by a BC registered massage therapist

Spa packages or couple’s massage

Waxing packages and brazilian re-book pricing

Please note: all packages and couple’s massage already have a discount included in the menu pricing and discount cannot be stacked.

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates can be redeemed toward any service, package or retail item at Spa 901, however can not be used to tip a service provider, as they have no cash value.

Our service menu and pricing may change from time to time, and original purchase price of gift certificate will be honoured toward any service choices. Promotional offers are not valid on gift certificate purchases, and all gift certificate purchases are non-refundable.
